SPECIALIZED TESTING
If your goal is to perform better, we offer testing and screening options which can provide you with valuable information about your body and help identify barriers which could impede your progress if not corrected.
- Functional Movement Screen: Exposes your neuromuscle weaknesses and allow you to develop a strong, balanced body. Metabolic Testing Golf
- Aerobic Capacity (VO2) Assessment: Determines accurate individual target heart rate zones and endurance capability. Exercising in your target heart rate zone allows you to maximize your cardiovascular workouts and a program can be designed to help you increase your aerobic capacity so your body better utilizes oxygen. The more oxygen you can use during high level exercise, the more energy you can produce.
- BOD POD: Athletic performance is, to a large degree, dependent on an athlete's ability to sustain power (both anaerobically and aerobically) and to overcome resistance. Both of these factors are interrelated with the athlete's body composition. Optimal body composition is important as an athlete carrying excess weight may be more prone to injury, while an athlete who is underweight may suffer from a severe energy deficit.
- Performance Golf Program: Various assessments are performed to enable the instructor to get facts about the golf swing and body so that a dynamic course of improvement can be developed in order to correct any physical limitations.

Testimonials
"Working with the performance program has helped me tremendously. It is the only thing that makes me consistently improve my basketball performance besides on-court play or drills." - Vicki Hall, professional basketball player, Istanbul, Turkey
"As a professional baseball player, working out in the off-season is an essential part of my program. [NIFS athletic performance program] has made a big impact on my weight training and conditioning program." - A.J. Zapp, Atlanta Braves baseball
"My coaches encouraged me to get a step faster for baseball, so I decided to look into NIFS. Their equipment is state-of-the-art and their knowledgeable trainers push you to achieve your goals. After training for four weeks, I feel that I have definitely fulfilled my goals." - Eric Riggs, Los Angeles Dodgers baseball
"The agility and strength training program that NIFS has put together for our softball team has been outstanding. I believe that the training provided by NIFS has been one of the main reasons my teams have been so successful. I know of no other program that can produce this kind of endurance and quickness. Best of all, the kids love it!" - Don Pietz, head coach, Indy Stealer Heat softball, Indianapolis
Referring to Marcus Barnes, star linebacker who trained at NIFS: "Marcus had a really great season this year. He was really quick off the ball. For example, he would hit the offensive lineman before he had a chance to move. He had tremendous quickness from his down stance, as well as his linebacker position." - Dick Dullaghan, head football coach, Ben Davis High School, Indianapolis
