Lite'N Up

Lite'N Up Class

This 8-week wellness program focuses on a healthy attitude toward food and fitness. You will be provided with the tools to select healthy foods and to incorporate exercise into your daily life. Topic Highlights

Designing an Effective Exercise Program
Physical activity is an important key to weight management. The staff of fitness specialists help participants design safe and effective exercise programs tailored to their needs, goals and capabilities. Each week, participants receive personalized attention as they take advantage of top-of-the-line exercise equipment at NIFS.

Developing Healthy Eating Habits
Healthy eating should consist of variety, balance and moderation. Our registered dietitian helps participants develop an eating pattern consistent with personal tastes and sound nutrition recommendations. Lite'N Up is not about dieting - it is about eating well.

Creating Balance in Your Life
Lite'N Up addresses obstacles many of us face in making lifestyle changes and methods to overcome them. We discuss the multi-dimensional nature of wellness, stress management, stages of change and preventing relapse.

Testimonials

"This program was most useful in the fact that the instructors were non-judgemental in the manner in which we were encouraged to move more and eat better."
-Darla Cohen

"I could tell after the first session that this would be exactly what I needed to help me start the process to reach my goals. Not only have I lost weight/inches and increased muscle strength, I have also learned how to eat in a way that promotes healthy living. I have been very pleased with all aspects of this program and the NIFS facility."
