NIFS can bring the fun and excitement of Group Fitness to you! Choose from the following group fitness classes and NIFS will send a certified fitness instructor to teach on-site at your location.

BOOTCAMP

Time: 40-60 mins
Description: This full body workout includes strength training, endurance, cardio & core work. You’ll shake up your routine with a mix of upper body, legs, abs, & running.

CARDIO CHALLENGE

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: Need a little variety? This class is for you. Get in a great cardiovascular workout on the step, multiple steps, high-low aerobics, kickboxing, power walk, etc. Strength training and core strength (abs and low back) round out this workout.
Equipment: Adjustable step benches recommended but not required. Boom box or stereo required.

CARDIO KICKBOXING

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: This class puts kicks, punches and boxing/karate techniques to music in a fun innovative workout. This class incorporates cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strengthening and flexibility into one great class.
Equipment: Boom box or stereo required.

CIRCUIT

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: There are no shortcuts when it comes to this workout. Get down to basics with a training regimen that will challenge every muscle in your body. This class consists of stations of cardiovascular conditioning using the step or low impact movement. Stations of muscle conditioning are also included to work upper and lower body. Core strength (abs and low back) round out this challenging class.
Equipment: Adjustable benches recommended but not required. Resistance tubing OR hand weights. Boom box or stereo required.

EXTREME STRENGTH

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: Increase your muscular strength and endurance with this total body workout. Learn how to isolate and define the muscles of the upper body, lower body and core (abs and low back) using hand weights, resistance tubing and your own body weight. Perfect class for all fitness levels.
Equipment: Hand weights and/or resistance tubes and/or body bars, etc. Boom box or stereo also required.

FITNESS YOGA

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: YogaFit is a Fitness based Yoga class that focuses on the muscles as you learn beginning Yoga Postures or “Asanas”. Balance, strength and flexibility are all important components of this class. Final relaxation closes this class to leave you calm and refreshed.
Equipment: Boom box or stereo recommended but not required.

GROUP CYCLING CLASS

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: Group cycling is a high energy cardiovascular workout using a specialized stationary cycle and an instructor to guide you through various resistance levels and movements to simulate road cycling. Motivating music comes along for the “ride”.
Equipment: Specialized stationary cycles and Boom box or stereo required.

LOW IMPACT

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: Back to the basics for a highly effective workout using patterns of low impact movement to challenge your cardiovascular endurance. Muscle conditioning and core strength (abs and low
back) complete this workout.
Equipment: Boom box or stereo required.

PILATES

Time: 40-60 minutes
Description: One of the latest crazes in exercise, this stretch and tone class enhances posture, muscle balance, muscle tone, flexibility and mind-body control. The class works primarily on a mat with various conditioning exercises that work the whole body for a relaxing, yet invigorating, workout. The class is instructed by a certified Pilates instructor.

POWER STEP

Time: 45-75 Minutes
Description: A power packed cardio class that focuses on total body fitness. Innovative advanced step choreography involves faster paced movements on the step providing an excellent cardiovascular workout. Muscle conditioning and abdominal work finish out this class.
Equipment: Adjustable step benches and boom box or stereo required.

PURE STEP

Time: 40-60 Minutes
Description: This high intensity class is a great workout. Intermediate level step choreography is performed on an adjustable step to provide a safe, effective cardiovascular and strength conditioning workout. Muscle conditioning and abdominal work finish out this class.
Equipment: Adjustable step benches and boom box or stereo required.
