Personal Nutrition Coaching (PNC)

A PNC is a comprehensive, individualized, one-on-one consultation that provides you with expert advice from a registered dietitians at NIFS. A computer-generated analysis of your three-day food diary will summarize your intake of fat, protein and carbohydrate, as well as many important vitamins and minerals. Designed with you in mind, a PNC will help you focus on lifestyle changes that are most important to your nutritional goals and needs.

Lite‘N Up

Lite‘N Up is a 12-week behavior-modification program that provides participants with the tools to select healthy foods and incorporate exercise into their daily lives. Unlike many programs that promote a “quick fix” for weight loss, Lite‘N Up encourages gradual changes in attitudes and behaviors related to nutrition, exercise and wellness. By incorporating these changes, participants are able to improve their health and effectively manage their weight.

Did you know that 1 in every 2.4 women‘s deaths is from cardiovascular disease?* This devastating illness is no longer reserved for men and the aged. Women need to take action NOW to reduce their risk for developing cardiovascular disease! The LivLite Advantage is a behavior-modification program that provides women with tools to eat more healthfully, incorporate regular exercise into their lifestyles and effectively manage their weight. The class is taught by a registered dietitian and a certified health/fitness instructor. Meetings include educational presentations, group discussions and supervised exercise sessions in the NIFS state-of-the-art Fitness Center.
