Open MRI

Clarian Radiology’s open MRI provides the open environment patients prefer and the superb images physicians demand. It is especially comforting to geriatric and pediatric patients, who are able to have one friend or family member inside the suite with them during the scan. The open MRI also easily accommodates claustrophobic patients and patients up to 500 pounds. It can perform a complete range of procedures, routine to advanced, to meet all diagnostic needs. This Open Speed 0.7T (Tesla, which indicates the strength of the magnet) scanner helps physicians with diagnosis in the following areas: neurological, vascular, spine, orthopedic, GI, gynecological and urological.

Computed Tomography (“CT”)

Multi-slice Cat Scanning (Computed Tomography) is a very effective, fast method of specialized X-ray that takes pictures of the body in slices from varying angles. So fast that it takes 38 images per second, this equipment is valued by doctors for diagnosis of many different health problems, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, infections, trauma and musculoskeletal and neurological problems. Images are state of the art and can be reformatted to the desires of the physician making a diagnosis. A CT scan takes only seconds to perform and is painless.

X-Ray

Additionally, Clarian Radiology at NIFS pffers plain X-ray exams for orthopedic, chest, abdomen, pelvis and other applications.
