Pilates Descriptions:

Mat PilatesThis class emphasizes the mind-body connection while enhancing and improving posture, muscular balance, strength and flexibility. With most exercises performed on the mat, this exercise system is challenging both mentally and physically and works the entire body through focusing on ”core” muscles. Meet in Pilates studio I. (50 min)
 
Reformer Training($)Taught on the Reformer, equipment originally designed by Joseph Pilates, this low-impact exercise will increase your strength, improve alignment and posture, increase flexibility and synchronize the mind and body no matter what your fitness level. Pilates for Athletic Performance($) (Level II – Level III class)This reformer class will work on core stability and spinal flexibility. This specialized workout will focus on strengthening tendons and correcting muscle imbalances; which can impede sports performance. To register, limit 4, call 274.3432 ext. 216.
