NIFS Weight Loss Membership

NIFS Weight Loss Membership will give you the extra tools you need to take off pounds and keep them off without compromising your health. Finally, a program that focuses on healthy eating, exercise and having fun!

The membership includes:

  • accountability each week on your weight
  • Guided workouts and consultations with a NIFS Fitness Instructor
  • a 60 minute workout session per week during your first month.
  • two-30 minute workout sessions per week through month two to four of your membership.
  • one- 30 minute workout session per week months five through nine..
  • meetings once a month with a Fitness Instructor for an hour after month nine.. This hour appointment will consist of modifying your workout and also identifying successes and challenges.
  • Weekly Group Fitness Classes-more than 60 FREE classes!
  • Personal Nutrition Coaching: one hour appointment (initial assessment) and six 30-minute appointments throughout the year (by appointment).

Personal Nutrition Coaching (PNC)

A PNC is a comprehensive, individualized, one-on-one consultation that provides you with expert advice from a registered dietitians at NIFS. A computer-generated analysis of your three-day food diary will summarize your intake of fat, protein and carbohydrate, as well as many important vitamins and minerals. Designed with you in mind, a PNC will help you focus on lifestyle changes that are most important to your nutritional goals and needs.

Lite'N Up

Lite'N Up is a 12-week behavior-modification program that provides participants with the tools to select healthy foods and incorporate exercise into their daily lives. Unlike many programs that promote a "quick fix" for weight loss, Lite'N Up encourages gradual changes in attitudes and behaviors related to nutrition, exercise and wellness. By incorporating these changes, participants are able to improve their health and effectively manage their weight.
