World Day for Physical Activity

World Day for Physical Activity
Monday, April 6

NIFS is partnering with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) on Monday, April 6 for World Day for Physical Activity. Special programs have been added to our schedule for seniors, kids and everyone in between.  Bring guests FREE all day so invite your kids (5 and over), parents, friends and neighbors!  Some of the activities will include:

  • Fitness Challenges - push-up and pull-up, rope pull, jump rope, Expresso bike race, BOSU balance challenge and more!
  • Nature Walk - at Noon, explore the NIFS "backyard" and see things you would never expect in downtown Indy
  • Zumba® - join us at Noon for a class which fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program
  • Kid's Zone - from 3-7 pm, kids (age 5 and over) can participate in several fun fitness activities representing the 7 continents
  • Drums Alive® - join us at 5:15 pm for a class everyone can do! Drums Alive® is different from any other workout you’ve tried before. Come see for yourself!
  • ITC Tennis Clinic - 6:00-6:45 pm  (outdoors on ITC's upper courts - wear tennis shoes, rackets & balls provided)
